Yale Climate and Energy Congress (YCEC)

The Yale Climate and Energy Congress (YCEC) is the student faction of the Yale Climate and Energy Institute.  The mission of the Student Congress is to provide leadership for the next generation of climate and energy experts at Yale and support for all related student efforts on campus.  As such, YCEC serves as a convening body for all related student organizations within Yale College, the Graduate School, and Yale’s Professional Schools, working to bridge students to faculty, alumni, and the university administration.

The YCEC sponsors and hosts a variety of graduate and undergraduate activities and research competitions and welcomes proposals from innovative teams/individuals.  On an annual basis, the YCEC organizes a symposium to focus the university community on a key interdisciplinary climate and energy topic or debate.  Students have an opportunity to present original research alongside the world’s eminent researchers.
