Stephen Dellaporta is a Professor of Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology. He received his B.Sc. from University of Rhode Island in 1978 and received his Ph.D. at Worcester Consortium in 1981.
His lab is interested in unraveling the origin and early diversification of Antp superclass homeobox genes (including Hox genes and the related ParaHox and NK-like genes) in Trichoplax adhaerens.
