“The Future of Energy”, with Burns & McDonell
In celebration of Engineering Week: 2014, Mr. J. Brett Williams- Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Northeast region - and Mr. David Boers – Associate and Program Manager in Burns & McDonnell’s Transmission and Distribution division- will provide students with a comprehensive view of the electric generation and transmission market and its evolution into the 21st century. They will address the economic and environmental challenges that engineering professionals face in their day-to-day operations, and the tremendous potential these individuals have to create sustainable, innovative solutions for some of the world’s most critical infrastructure issues. Mr. Williams and Mr. Boers will share a real world perspective on where the energy market is heading and will discuss how the consulting world is evolving to meet the needs of their clients, while maintaining financial stability within their organizations.
